Who Am I?
My name is Kelsie DiPerna and I grew up in Southern California and have lived the majority of my adult life in Hawaii. I received a Bachelors of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in 2013, and have since managed a reforestation project in Madagascar, managed a sea turtle conservation project in Mexico, worked as a scuba Divemaster in Hawaii and Honduras, and worked as a waitress and a photographer to save money to travel. In recent years, I've decided to take my love for protecting nature, along with my deep passions for travel and photography, to create this platform for sharing the culmination of these.
My goal in this website, and in all endeavors streaming from such, is to bring an eye to places off-the-beaten track that aren't covered in other travel blogs. I love hiking, camping, diving, conservation science, music, alternative culture, and nature in all its grandeur. I am here to document these experiences at home and during my extensive travels, to educate, inspire, and share these passions with you.
